Kate Spade has won numerous awards throughout her career. She won in 1996 "America's New Fashion Talent in Accessories" for her classic designs. In 1998, she was once again honored for "Best Accessory Designer of the Year". In 2004 her home collection won three design awards, including, House Beautiful magazine's "Giants of Design Award for Tastemaker", Bon Appetit magazine's "American Food and Entertaining Award for Designer of the Year", and Elle Decor magazine's "Elle Decor International Design Award for Bedding".
